About the event
Train for upcoming tournaments in an intensive three-week class. We will practice reading by examining midgame situations and solving tsumego problems. Pro games and student’s games will be reviewed. Learn and analyze modern shapes and variations adopted in recent top-tier tournaments. Per week, one or two teaching games with the instructor are played and reviewed. Prepare for practical aspects of tournament play in outside-the-board discussions.
This course may be extended after July 25, contingent upon the finalized date of the AGA pro qualification.
Prerequisites: 1d and up. 3-1k players can participate with special permission from the instructor.
